Who are the fish?
There are many myths surrounding the founding of Yawazzi. Rumours layered over rumours have propagated bizarre scenarios involving zen gardens and cyber space, pizza pies and darkened theatres. One story has Sanjin punching a director in the face and breaking out into a monologue that would become the manifesto of Yawazzi. Others say that the fish visited Keevy in a dream prophesising immortality. What is known as solid fact is that Yawazzi was founded by two UCT Drama graduates, Jon Keevy and Sanjin Muftić.
